Project 5: Idioms

I decided to start putting things together on photoshop, ready for my final outcomes. This first experiment was using the layout of a letter game (scrabble) for my text. I stuck to the idea of suing different fonts, to make it more fun.

I then added the text over a gound i previously made. I think the piece looks a little bit too solid and flat.

This experiment consits of the same background as above but i scanned in my own hand-rendered type. To layer them together i experimented using the gradient tool. I find this tool really effective as it made the piece not look as 'flat' as the previous.

This experiment seems too dark and makes the words more difficult to read.
