FMP - Contrasted Architecture
As I said before, I wanted to use my circular photo experiments with other development. For example, here I added one of m letter shape and purposely lined it up with the building, jus to give it a more refined professional look. With it looking a little bare I added another circle of an envelope, one I hadn't used before, however I find this one less effective, it isn't as strong.
This second idea (below) is sticking to more of a circular idea, as I was unsure whether the abstract shape fitted in. Now, looking at this, I feel it looks too 'circular'. I do like how the circles make contact with each other, and with a blend setting on, makes it look even more effective.
I wanted to use the vivid envelope cut-out to add something striking to the piece. It definitely helps do this. I didn't have it over all of the imagery as it would take the attention from my photography. The yellow circle brings them all together, it is sort of a 'contact point' for them.
(Image below) I wanted to bring different photography in, therefore used this photograph as I liked the point of it. The mistake I made with this was putting the photograph so central, although the circles weren't, the imagery as a whole still felt too central. However I do like the concept of it.
By changing the composition to an off-set layout, in the case to the right, it makes the imagery so much more stronger as I have thought about it more. I like how only some parts of the yellow circle are noticeable, due to using a blend effect over it. The text as well is simple yet suitable for this piece, it fits in nicely especially in a subtle green/yellow similar to the small circle.
I think this piece is getting to the point where it could possibly be used for final imagery, however I still wan to work on more stuff yet.
